Job Description Reports to: President of Relations About Us Affinity Fundraising Registration provides non-profit organizations a full range of charitable solicitation registration services. Job Summary It is the responsibility of the Online Marketing Associate to support growth and development of marketing efforts and facets of the sales process upon effectively learning and supporting the Affinity Single Portal® and fundraising registration production process. This includes but is not limited to coordinating online and traditional marketing implementation and development, executing templated onboarding communications and providing customer support using scripted responses, and as-needed responding to sales inquiries with estimates, demos, contracts, CRM tracking, and timely follow- up. Summary of essential job functions • Support marketing strategy development and growth • Implementation of marketing initiatives through new and existing methods, both internal and external • Monitoring and ensuring consistent implementation of established logo and messaging style guides across all communication materials • Drafting, editing, designing, formatting, and sending bulk emails • Updating and maintenance of email list • Website updating and formatting, with focus on SEO • Monitoring, tracking, analysis, and reporting of Google Analytics • Monitor, enhance, and grow Google AdWords campaigns • Oversee and maintain existing organizational partnerships • Develop and provide promotional materials to partnership organizations • Update and manage online video tutorial library • Schedule, design, and implement advertising • Timely and accurate set-up of new customer accounts in the Affinity Single Portal® • Assist in onboarding of new customers through structured email follow-up and presenting orientation webinars • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer support and sales support with scripted responses • Occasional, limited support of sales: o Answer and return incoming sales inquiries by phone and email o Ascertain prospective customers’ needs and wants o Accurately describe service features, process, and benefits o Vet for fit o Recommend appropriate service levels as needed o Draft and send estimates, follow-ups, and contracts o Host online demos on a regular basis o Data entry and maintenance of sales CRM • Digital filing and maintenance of customer files as needed • Database maintenance and updating as needed • Scanning of documentation as needed • High tolerance for possibly frustrating circumstances • Time and task management • Registration verification with states • Patience and cooperation with bureaucracies • Monitoring and maintenance of long-term projects • Other duties as assigned Minimum requirements • Experience with marketing – 2+ years • Experience with inside sales a plus • Bachelor of Arts degree preferred • Understanding of marketing and sales principles and customer service practices • A strong phone presence • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Customer service focus • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality • Solid communication and interpersonal skills • Positive attitude and demeanor • Team oriented • Accurate data entry • Attention to detail • Mac OS proficient with: Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and HTML • Experience with Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and PHP programming a plus • Experience with nonprofit and/or legal organizations is a plus • Patience & a sense of humor • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
