Outdoor Advertising Installer

Lamar is hiring an Operations crew member to assist in installing and maintaining billboards for brands in the Toledo, OH area. This is a full-time, entry-level position where you'll be trained and equipped to succeed.

Your primary responsibilities will include the installation and upkeep of billboards, managing advertisements, and ensuring our structures remain in excellent condition. You'll often work independently, effectively managing your work schedule.

You'll work with large vinyl advertisements and engage in various construction tasks, such as tightening bolts and performing minor electrical repairs. Comfort with heights is essential, as our tallest structures reach up to 200 feet.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Removing and installing vinyl and flex advertisements on billboardsBuilding extensions and conducting storm damage repairsUsing power and manual tools while following safety protocolsParticipating in safety meetings as requiredMaintaining operation vehicles and construction toolsTaking photos to document your installation workWhat we're looking for in you:

Strong ability to work independently and efficiently manage your task scheduleComfortable working at heights of up to 100 feetEffective communication skills; fluent in EnglishTeam-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborateBasic computer proficiency (internet, Microsoft Word & Excel)Knowledge of electrical and fabrication skills is a plusAbility to read technical documents and follow safety regulationsEducation and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredA valid driver's license is necessaryCompletion of OSHA 10-hour Construction course is requiredPrevious experience working at heights and in construction is preferred but not mandatoryPhysical Demands and Work Environment: This job involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and includes heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds), extensive physical activity, and working at heights. Travel may be required occasionally, but on-call shifts will be minimal.
