Outdoor Advertising Structure Installer

Lamar Advertising Company is seeking a dedicated Outdoor Construction Worker to join our team in building, installing, and maintaining various billboard and digital advertising structures. This field-based role requires you to work outdoors year-round, often at heights, while assembling frames, hanging vinyl, and servicing essential lighting and digital components.

In this dynamic position, you will operate hand and power tools, ladders, and aerial lifts, all while adhering to stringent OSHA and company safety standards. You will collaborate closely with local operations and sales teams to ensure timely installation and support high-visibility advertising campaigns. Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain outdoor advertising structures, including billboards and digital displays.Safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and aerial lifts to complete construction tasks.Work at heights to assemble frames, hang vinyl, and service lighting and digital components.Read work orders, site plans, and measurements to ensure accurate installation and placement.Inspect structures for damage or wear and perform basic repairs when necessary.Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from various job sites.Consistently follow OSHA, company, and traffic safety procedures.Collaborate with local operations and sales teams to meet installation deadlines efficiently.Complete required documentation, photos, and reports for all jobs undertaken.Maintain a clean and organized work truck and job site.Required Skills

Experience in outdoor construction.Ability to work at heights safely.Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.Experience in aerial lift operation.Basic skills in electrical and lighting repair.Ability to read blueprints and site plans.Understanding of rigging and material handling.Adept with measurement and layout.Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.Knowledge in equipment and truck maintenance.
