Paid FT Advertising/Marketing New Business Intern

Pulsar, the Virginia office of an integrated marketing and branding agency, is seeking a full-time paid intern to support and participate in new business development for the agency. You will be working side-by-side with the Director of New Business Development in charge of new business and assisting with assessing market opportunities, writing proposals (e.g., job requisitions, change notices, org charts, bios, charts, winning propositions, etc. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in PR, Advertising, Marketing, Mass Communications or relevant discipline • Highly organized and motivated • Ability to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlines • Outgoing personality with fearless attitude towards new business • Strong communication skills • Very familiar with working on a Mac • Knowledge of MS Office on a Mac (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Ideal haves: • Ideas and working knowledge of new business • Outstanding writing and editing skills • The desire to be a part of all things marketing • Social networking/media marketing competency Ability to Commute: • Virginia Beach, VA 23456 (Required)
