Paid FT Advertising/Marketing New Business Intern

Pulsar, the Virginia office of an integrated marketing and branding agency, is seeking a full-time paid intern to support and participate in new business development for the agency. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, motivated, independent, the ability to juggle a number of assignments simultaneously, organizing the new business team and keep them moving forward on-time, and strong writing/communications skills. This is a great opportunity for the right college graduate looking for genuine experience.

This is a REAL internship (even better - it's paid) with real opportunities to learn (and if you are outstanding - we'll have no choice but to hire you permanently). You will be working side-by-side with the New Business Lead and Team, assisting with assessing market opportunities, writing proposals (e.g., job requisitions, change notices, org charts, bios, charts, winning propositions, etc.), conducting Internet and market research, participating in marketing brainstorm sessions, preparing sections of new business proposals (e.g., form, bios, case studies, reels, etc.), developing social/digital media content and assisting with account administration (e.g., billing, meeting notes, research, etc.). The Richmond Virginia office is currently 60-80% telework with 1 or 2 days a week in the office.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in PR, Advertising, Marketing, Mass Communications or relevant discipline
Highly organized and motivated
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlines
Outgoing personality with fearless attitude towards new business
Strong communication and writing skills
Very familiar with working on a Mac
Knowledge of MS Office on a Mac (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, and AI

Social networking/media marketing competency
