Paid Search & Social Strategist

As a certified B Corp and 1% for the Planet member, we partner with brands and organizations that care deeply about how their message shows up in the world and how their media dollars move both their business and our culture forward. Though you’ll be working within both search and social platforms, we’re looking for someone with the bulk of their experience in search who is prepared to speak as an authority on paid search optimization and best practices. This role includes a 3-month contract period, during which you’ll be paid on an hourly basis and will not be eligible for benefits. Build, execute, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and peripheral search platforms as neededBuild, execute, manage, and optimize social campaigns across major platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Reddit Analyze performance data regularly and translate it into clear insights, hypotheses, and next stepsSupport ongoing media spend actualization and optimizationAct as a “boots-on-the-ground” search expert, proactively flagging opportunities, risks, and performance shiftsCollaborate with media strategists and account leads to ensure search and social approach aligns with broader channel strategySupport reporting and performance storytelling—helping explain what’s happening and why it mattersParticipate in regular check-ins with leadership to review monthly and quarterly trends across accountsAssist with onboarding and mentoring newer team members as the search team growsSupport projects beyond your core accounts when needed—we operate as one team, not silos You don’t just look at numbers you interrogate themInterest in media trends, business, and how people actually search and make decisionsGoogle Ads and/or Microsoft Advertising certifications are a plusPrevious exposure to SEO or content strategy is helpful, but not required as campfire does not offer organic search services.
