SUMMARY
The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for creating and executing effective paid search strategies across the agency's client base. This individual possesses experience in campaign management and paid search strategy, with hands-on involvement in search platforms such as Google, Bing, YouTube, and Amazon. They excel in paid search performance monitoring and can recommend key performance indicators (KPIs) for client reporting. Comfortable participating in client meetings, they also possess knowledge of search trends and emerging partnerships.
KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Outcome: Paid Search Campaign Management
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned existing paid search campaigns on a day-to-day basis, optimizing based on performance goals and the measurement frameworkDocument changes and learnings to enhance campaign performance
Key Outcome: Campaign Setup and Budget Management
Key Responsibilities:
Expertly set up and tag new campaigns according to the measurement frameworkTake responsibility for monthly forecasting, invoicing, and reconciliation tasksDevelop and manage campaign budget tracking documents, pacing documents, and budget forecasts
Key Outcome: Identifying Opportunities and Best Practices
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the analytics and account service teams to identify new opportunities in the paid search space, aligning with client objectivesEstablish organization-wide paid search best practices, guidelines, objectives, and documented regulations associated with paid search campaigns
Key Outcome: Campaign Analysis and Strategy Development
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, review, and report on campaign effectiveness to maximize resultsAssist in developing paid search strategies and plans for new and existing clientsActively learn how to scope and estimate new projects or campaigns
Other Responsibilities:
May be asked to assist with quality assurance of paid search campaigns for a select set of clients with meticulous attention to detailContribute to the maintenance of process documentation, ensuring it remains up-to-date
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION – Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or equivalent work experience.EXPERIENCE – Minimum of 3 years of experience managing campaigns in the paid search ecosystem, with exposure to strategic planning and applied experience in executing plansProven track record in operating with a high level of integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm for roles with cross-functional commitmentsGoogle Adwords certification is preferred, and Google Analytics certification is a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
All employees, regardless of role or geographic location, are required to travel to Rochester during their initial onboarding period (ideally within the first 4 weeks of employment) and annually for the Shareholder’s Summit held in June.

COMPENSATION
Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $45,000 - $66,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
This is just one component of Butler/Till’s total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
