Part Time Accountant

Downtown marketing/advertising agency needs part time accountant 15 - 24 hours per week. Flexible schedule. $25.00 – 35.00/hour Duties: A/R and A/P Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements Job Costing Process payroll using payroll service Prepare financial statements 401k administration using TPA HR and benefits administration Prepare annual MN sales and use tax returns Prepare 1099 Misc. forms Business insurance renewals (CPA firm will prepare the corporate tax returns) Requirements: Experience using QuickBooks Experience filing MN sales and use tax returns Experience working as the only accountant in a small business Ability to pass criminal background check and credit check Accounting education preferred Job cost accounting experience preferred Marketing or advertising agency experience preferred Experience with Workamajig software is a plus
