Part-time Administrative Sales Executive

The role includes responsibility for customer satisfaction post-sale, including the orchestration of delivery. This is a 16 hours/week, part-time position. Compensation will be a combination of an hourly salary and commission. This position is in-person. Responsibilities \\- Work directly with Publisher, professional accountant, and Revenue Director to: \\- sell Spectator’s inventory of print and digital ads, as well as our our flyering, sponsored content, social media services, and other direct-to- consumer services and events \\- Engage potential advertisers (ad agencies, national and local advertisers) \\- Maintain relationships with existing clients \\- Determine which clients and industries would be best to reach out to \\- Help ensure client satisfaction by ensuring delivery of service and communicate results \\- Coordinate weekly print ads with layout team \\- Organize print deliveries to local drop-off locations and subscribers \\- Coordinate with printing company about delivery and specifics of weekly print editions Minimum qualifications: \\- 2+ years sales experience at a nonprofit or corporation \\- Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or Institution \\- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) \\- Proficiency in Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Analytics, Ads Manager) \\- Strong communications skills \\- Strong work ethic, integrity, and self-motivation \\- Must be authorized to work in the United States About Spectator: Spectator Publishing Co. is an independent, student-run company that publishes print and digital news and information products covering and serving the Columbia University community.
