We are seeking a high‑level Brand & Marketing Strategist to help define and guide marketing direction across a portfolio of growing businesses in construction, real estate, and emerging technology.This is a strategy‑first role, focused on customer insight, positioning, and communication—not day‑to‑day execution.You will work directly with leadership to bring clarity to:Who we targetHow we positionHow we communicate across every stage of the customer journeyThis role is designed to evolve into a full‑time leadership position (Head of Marketing / CMO) as the business continues to scale.Key Responsibilities Customer & Market StrategyIdentify and define primary and secondary customer segmentsAnalyze market dynamics, competitors, and positioning opportunitiesDevelop clear customer profiles, including motivations, decision drivers, and pain pointsBrand Positioning & MessagingDefine and refine brand positioning across multiple business linesDevelop clear, differentiated value propositionsCreate messaging frameworks tailored to different audiences and channelsEnsure consistency across all marketing and sales communicationCustomer Journey & Communication StrategyMap the full customer journey (awareness → consideration → decision → post‑sale)Identify key touchpoints and opportunities to improve engagement and conversionDefine communication strategies for each stage, including advertising messaging, website and landing pages, email and SMS follow‑up, and sales alignmentMarketing & Funnel AlignmentAudit existing marketing channels, campaigns, and funnelsIdentify gaps between brand, messaging, and sales executionProvide strategic recommendations to improve lead quality and conversionStrategic CollaborationWork closely with leadership to align marketing with business objectivesProvide guidance to internal team members or external vendors responsible for executionSupport strategic planning for future marketing initiatives and growthQualifications Required5+ years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or related fieldProven experience in developing positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategyStrong understanding of customer behavior, lead generation, and conversionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to think strategically while staying grounded in practical applicationComfortable working independently and advising leadershipPreferredExperience in construction, real estate, home services, or related industriesExperience working with growing or multi‑entity businessesFamiliarity with digital marketing channels (Meta, Google, websites, funnels)Experience collaborating with sales teams to align messaging and conversionCompensation$35 – $50 per hour, depending on experienceFlexible part‑time schedule (15–25 hours/week)Opportunity to transition into a full‑time leadership role (CMO track)Why This Role Is DifferentStrategy‑first role with real influence on business directionDirect collaboration with leadership (no layers, no bureaucracy)Opportunity to shape marketing across multiple growth‑stage initiativesClear path to evolve into a Head of Marketing / CMO position#J-18808-Ljbffr
