Riggs Ward Design (RWD) is seeking a creative, organized, and dependable Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to support the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities in a collaborative design environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with proposal coordination, including gathering materials, maintaining schedules, formatting documents, and supporting submission requirementsFormat and produce proposals and marketing materials using Adobe InDesignCreate, edit, and prepare photographs and graphics Help plan, create, and schedule content for RWD’s social media channelsCoordinate conference registrations, travel details, promotional materials, and other logisticsAssist with client outreach and relationship-building initiativesCoordinate client gifts, including selection, ordering, packaging, and deliveryMaintain and organize marketing materials, project information, photographs, and staff qualificationsVisit project sites as needed to photograph completed work, installations, and eventsAttend select conferences or industry events as an RWD representativeSupport award submissions, announcements, and other promotional effortsAssist with additional marketing and administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and PhotoshopStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCareful attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyFamiliarity with social media platforms and content developmentProfessional and comfortable communicating with clients, partners, and industry contactsAvailability for required overnight travel, which may include weekends

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in marketing, communications, proposal coordination, or business developmentPhotography experienceExperience in architecture, design, museums, cultural institutions, or a related professional-services field

Compensation and Schedule

This is a part-time position paying $20–$35 per hour, with opportunities to earn additional performance-based bonuses. Estimated 20 hours per week; The schedule may vary based on proposal deadlines, conferences, project photography, and other marketing needs. Overnight travel is required and may include weekends.
