Part-Time Sales Representative

Our Advertising Sales Executive position has flexibility for a proven sales pro to work a part-time schedule, selling to an established territory in St. Paul, South Minneapolis, Mendota Heights and Lilydale. We seek a motivated and experienced sales professional who is driven to succeed and interested in the many facets of marketing and advertising sales. Responsibilities Include \- Build and maintain strong relationships with business customers \- Generate new business leads by prospecting \- Achieve and exceed sales goals \- Develop a high level of working knowledge about our products and the readers they serve \- Design and develop marketing campaigns for new businesses and current clients \- Create and present customized sales presentations and successfully close sales \- Represent Villager Communications in the business community by attending local events and building relationships with key decision-makers \- Availability to work a set M-F schedule, 25-30 hours a week Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success selling newspaper and/or digital advertising, media or related outside experience. Ideal candidates will have an Associates or Bachelor Degree in communications, marketing or sales; computer proficiency; knowledge of file formats and graphic arts production; and have an interest in a role that emphasizes team players and goal attainment.
