Position Overview
SILVERCAST Media is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photo & Video Editor Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, content creation, photography, video, and advertising who wants hands-on experience working with campaigns for major global brands.
The intern will primarily focus on editing and enhancing photo and video content of SILVERCAST's outdoor advertising portfolio and client campaigns. You'll work with real-world creative assets from some of the most recognizable advertising locations in New York City, including Times Square, the Penn District, Herald Square, SoHo, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and retouch photos of SILVERCAST billboards, signage, and advertising campaignsEdit video footage into polished campaign recaps, highlight reels, sizzle reels, and social media contentPerform photo enhancements including color correction, lighting adjustments, perspective correction, object removal, and general retouchingAssist with video color correction, transitions, graphics, typography, music, and other post-production elementsResize and optimize photo and video assets for social media, presentations, marketing materials, and client deliverablesHelp ensure all visual content reflects SILVERCAST's premium brand and quality standards
What We're Looking For
Current student or recent graduate studying Film, Photography, Video Production, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related fieldExperience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After EffectsStrong photo retouching and video editing skillsA strong eye for composition, color, lighting, typography, and visual storytellingUnderstanding of social media content and short-form video editingHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCreative, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learnExperience with motion graphics, animation, or other creative software is a plusInterest in advertising, media, entertainment, or out-of-home advertising is a plus
