Political Advertising Sales Account Executive

This job is based in Washington... D.C., reporting to the Political Sales Manager. Requirements: • Constant communication with political ad agencies regarding their business • Collaborate with station management on rate card management and “upfront” order strategy • Track and report all candidate/issue assignments at agencies for upcoming elections • Assist HTV station sales managers in political agencies calls, presentations, etc. • Assist in budgeting for upcoming year, both at the corporate and individual station level • Oversight of transition from rep firms to in-house political sales effort • First level oversight of HTV Political Portal • Point of contact for station questions regarding political procedure, FCC regulations, etc. At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
