PR Account Coordinator

Nereus, a full-service strategic communications firm in the Portland metro area, seeks a self-starter PR Account Coordinator to support our global technology clients that are creating technologies that are changing our world. This position is best-served by an individual who is: • Interested in deep tech • Interested in practicing multiple communications disciplines • Eager to grow skills within a supportive and collaborative team • Able to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast- paced environment Primary Responsibilities: • Manage research projects • Manage multiple projects from beginning to end • Begin building media and analyst relationships • Help develop and execute social media programs • Write pitches, blogs, press releases, and other collateral • Compile news coverage and activity reports • Begin to understand our clients’ technologies • Improve understanding of basic PR and marcom practices Qualifications: • Four-year degree; Degree in Communications, PR or Journalism preferred • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail • Excellent writing, editing and oral communications skills If you are eager to work with a smart, fun collaborative team and ready to hit the ground running, we want you on our team!
