**University of Idaho Program Coordinator, Alumni Events** **Location:** Moscow **Division/College:** University Advancement (Div) **Employee Category:** Classified **Pay Range:** $15.70 per hour or higher depending on education and experience **Full/Part Time:** Full Time **Position Summary:** This position, under the general direction of the Director of Alumni Programming and Operations, plans, coordinates, executes and evaluates events and programs that support the mission of the University of Idaho Office of Alumni Relations. **Minimum Qualifications:** * One year professional experience in event planning or related field * Experience in computer operation and software programs * Experience with techniques and procedures used in program development; e.g. budgeting, planning, managing, coordinating, administering and providing record keeping **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications or hospitality management * Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously * Ability to promote activities using skills such as writing, advertising and design * Ability to perform and lead others in program related activities * Ability to communicate effectively * Ability to supervise others in program initiation, administration and evaluation * Ability to serve as a liaison with other departments and institutions * Ability to organize details of events * Knowledge of University of Idaho students and traditions * Knowledge of the University of Idaho and state of Idaho * Knowledge of program planning and implementation * Knowledge of providing liaison with customer/provider groups **Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:** **Posting Number:** SP002756P **Posting Date:** 03/25/2021 **Closing Date:** **Open Until Filled:** Yes **Special Instructions:** To be considered your “Letter of Qualification” must address each of the required qualifications.
