The Programmatic Strategist supports the Watson Advertising Premium Sales Team in presenting to agencies/advertisers, answering questions about Programmatic offerings and closing deals. • Serve as industry expert in programmatic media in order to support the national sales team in their discussions with advertisers and agencies. • Partner with national sales team to help identify, pitch, and close programmatic ad sales deals with agencies and advertisers. Required Technical and Professional Expertise • Proven experience in programmatic and online advertising, both from an operational and sales perspective • At least 5 years' experience in digital advertising, with at least 1-2 years in programmatic media • Experience at a major publisher, agency or programmatic technology company • Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, challenges in the marketplace, and understanding the competition • Ability to communicate complex technical and product features in simple terms • High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive • Eagerness to work in a dynamic environment that will be rapidly changing • Willing to reach out to programmatic buyers and develop relationships IBM is also committed to compliance with all fair employment practices regarding citizenship and immigration status
