We are in need of a high-energy, positive, results-driven Project Manager for an Interior Design Firm. This person must be friendly, professional, and positive with the ability to work well with others and alone, in a very fast- paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational experience, a positive nature, outstanding skills, demonstrated communication experience, the ability to work independently, and most importantly the hunger and drive to succeed. Are you a hard-working, detail-oriented, self-starter resourceful team player who can assist our Interior Design team? Responsibilities and Functions Include: Handle requests and inquiries and for the Principal in a timely and appropriate manner, any and all that arrive Manage Principal’s schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) The position involves working closely with the Principal, colleges, and suppliers Act as the point of contact between the Principal and the public Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence Maintain timesheet and reimbursable sheet to reflect appropriate Principal- related hours Manage personal repair and smaller construction projects for Principal Make travel arrangements for Principal Personal errands for Principal Manage and maintain BOTH personal and business receipts – submit to the accounting department Ability to create client proposals and good with numbers Assist in general sales and administrative tasks Greet and screen all office visitors Help ensure that the office runs smoothly, which includes keeping supplies in stock, working with vendors, mail, and shipping needs (general office upkeep) Coordinate photoshoots and promotional material of past, current, and future projects Responsible for Public Relations (PR) efforts Assist in building long term relationships with new and existing clients Create and maintain email lists of customers and contacts, and post periodic notices of events, promotions, and announcements to maintain marketing opportunities Assist where help is needed to the interior design team, creating concepts, presentations, design boards, using design software, estimating projects, and successfully managing them Requirements: Must be based in the DMV area with own transportation Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in marketing with a focus on building and executing marketing programs Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task on multiple projects Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to be resourceful and take initiative Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, positive attitude Attention to detail and solution-oriented with strong organizational skills Self-motivated so as to keep up with a fast-paced environment with a "can-do" attitude High-level proficiency with G-Suites, Microsoft office, and other operating systems Bachelor Degree IMPORTANT: To be considered, you MUST include: \\- Cover Letter: briefly describing your interest in working with our company \\- Resume: outlining your qualifications \\- References: three professional references including name, email address, phone number, and a brief summary of the professional relationship
