A minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience preferably one of those in teaching. Hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. • To know the Texas Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations relating to Professional Nurse Education, Licensure and Practice for the State of Texas and implementation of them. • Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with faculty and with nursing service personnel in clinical agencies. • To know and follow the policies of the Nursing Department, the affiliated clinical facility, and sound teaching practices while supervising students in the clinical or simulation area.
