The individual in this position serves as a key external representative of FOAA, managing relationships with member companies, state agencies, and public safety leaders. This role requires the ability to communicate with credibility, anticipate needs, and execute programs with a level of polish and consistency that reflects the standards of both the association and its members. Manage contracts, documentation, and program records with accuracy and accountability Track budgets, campaign activity, and key metrics Prepare concise, professional reports for leadership and board members 2+ years of experience in communications, public relations, program management, or a related field A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field may be considered in lieu of up to 1 year of professional experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to tone and detail Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work Demonstrated experience interacting with external stakeholders in a professional setting This role is best suited for someone who values in-person interaction, thrives in a collaborative environment, and understands the importance of responsiveness and professionalism in a relationship-driven organization.
