Periodic review of the bid process performed by the Engineering Department for construction projects, to ensure the process meets the requirements of the GCRC Purchasing Policy. Monitor the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders to ensure delivery and interact with suppliers in the event of damaged goods or incorrect quantity. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: This position prefers a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Management or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. Three (3) years of experience in procurement and contract administration is required. Knowledge of governmental procurement requirements is preferred.
