Quick, current President of SDMC, started with the company in 1995 as a Regional Manager with an emphasis on new business. After tripling the SDMC portfolio in seven short years, Reese was promoted to President. While serving as President of IREM Reese was able to gain more knowledge of the conventional aspect of the housing industry and included them in his quest for new management. By growing the SDMC portfolio, advertising, insurance, and vendor costs began to lower leading to a higher profit margin for the Owner and allowing more funding at the properties to prevent any deferred maintenance. All of these improvements culminated in higher property values and the appreciation of the residents and community, and eventually prompting the company slogan “providing more than a home”.
