Serves as Resident Maintenance Engineer organizing, planning, and coordinating the activities of employees of a county maintenance unit. Supervises the purchasing of supplies and materials for maintenance operations. Represents SCDOT at public meetings, interdepartmental and inter-agency committees and study groups. Manages Shop operations in the repair of all equipment assigned to maintenance operations. This position may require travel.
