Ruby on Rails beginner with people and project management skills

This is a part-time position (though it may grow to full-time) working remotely for an arts non-profit in the film production and exhibition spaces. If you're looking to build a career in media entertainment, and you meet these requirements, there is opportunity for you to intern in artistic areas that interest you, in addition to the work described here. We do have a diversity hiring policy. A BIPOC woman is preferred, but others will be considered. \- At least beginner-level Rails proficiency, with at least a mastery of ActiveRecord and the Rails console \- Intermediate HTML and CSS skills \- Some Linux commandline experience \- Photoshop experience and an artistic eye, or an ability and willingness to manage a contract designer \- Good people skills, and excellent English \- A web app "power user", easily able to master complex apps comparable to Jira \- Ability to manage social media and advertising campaigns (no need for skills writing/developing content; just managing the roll-out of content and the ongoing expenditure of ad dollars) \- Some experience encoding and editing video is a plus, but not required (this will open more lateral opportunities) \- Good with time management, and willing to dive into any activity needed to carry the mission forward
