The Transportation DOT & Safety Manager role is responsible for the safety and environmental regulatory compliance as well as DOT regulations. Responsibilities: Develop driver training program, curriculum and guidelines for certification. Conduct or coordinate driver training in areas such as safety rules and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment. Implement procedures and checklists for internal processes related to safety (e.g. hiring, training, paperwork) Maintaining employee and safety related files related to compliance and audits. Provide monthly safety related reporting.
