This position works on our administrative team to provide general training support to trainers and on training our program provides to new Child Welfare Caseworkers. staff and work on a variety of tasks, projects and have various responsibilities related to logistics of training, scheduling and delivery of services, and collaborates with stakeholders and service providers to ensure and maintain the quality and fidelity of training provided. Travel may be required as part of this position. In partnership with the Oregon Department of Human Services, the Child Welfare Partnership delivers an extensive and nationally recognized training curriculum and program for child welfare workers and caregivers (foster, kinship and adoptive) with a mission to “ build the capacity of human service organizations and systems to improve the equity and effectiveness of services and community supports for children, youth, and families.” Over 120,000 persons have been trained to be caseworkers, caregivers, social service assistants and supervisors to support the individual needs of families and best serve Oregon’s children and young people.
