The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) is seeking an experienced sales account executive to drive local advertising revenue for Chicago Sports Network. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Develop, present and close advertising sales packages for both renewal and new business • Manage sales integration with the corporate partnership departments with our three teams, all with the objective of meeting and exceeding budget • Work with the sales management team to develop a sales strategy, identify key new business targets and a go-to-market plan for achieving sales objectives • Develop, close and grow revenue and relationships within the advertising community, with an emphasis on new business • Work with the station’s traffic and finance departments and sales planners to manage inventory, pricing, rate structure, billing and collections for clients • Work with the Local/National Sales Directors and the GSM to foster collaboration with the sales departments from the Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox • Execute plans, strategies and other assigned duties as set for by station management • Foster a culture within the advertising sales department of creativity, teamwork, productivity, empowerment and adherence to the network’s core values Minimum Qualifications And Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field • 3+ years’ experience in media advertising sales in a major market or at a regional sports station. The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The Network will begin airing Blackhawk and Bulls games in October and White Sox games beginning in 2025.
