Sales and Marketing Operations Associate

The Company

Costmine Intelligence is a mine cost data, estimation and property intelligence and research business owned by Vancouver-based Glacier Media. Costmine produces an array of proprietary data, models and analytical tools for all stakeholders in the mining industry. Mining industry professionals use our products to screen and filter global mine properties, estimate mine costs and use our databases to benchmark detailed mine cost elements. We are located in Spokane, Vancouver and Toronto.

Role: Sales & Marketing Operations Associate

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, we are recruiting a Sales & Marketing Operations Associate with 1-2 years’ experience to join our team of subject matter experts. Mining industry experience will be favoured but is not required; we encourage candidates with a background in marketing, sales or business administration and an interest in the mining industry to apply. This is an exciting role that can offer exposure to all facets of our research, engineering, sales, marketing and business administration teams, while being trained and advised by our senior staff.

Main responsibilities:

The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include the following:

Operations

Sales support for onboarding new clients and setting up trialsSetting up users and managing their portal accessTracking customer usage statistics and reporting other KPIsAdministration of the company’s CRM system

Marketing

Running digital marketing campaignsManaging social media postsWriting short marketing pieces for emails, blogs and collateral materialsPosting research and analysis to our blog and other digital channelsManage the marketing and events calendarCreative content generation – infographics, powerpoint, webinars and other multimedia contentOther related duties to the sales, marketing and operations function as they arise.Representing the company at industry conferences and trade shows, including booth setup, staffing, and on-site coordination

Minimum Skills / Qualifications:

College or university level degree in sales, marketing or business administrationExperience with CRMs (Salesforce or other)Knowledge of email tools such Pardot, MailChimp, etcAdobe or other graphics editing softwareWordpress or other web publishing toolsMedium Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skillsA minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a professional settingStrong writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with remote teamsMust have authorization to work in the USA.
