JOB SUMMARY Sales & Catering Administrative Assistant is responsible for proactively supporting and representing the sales department and restaurant in events and general administrative support while upholding brand standards and core values. • Greet customers and create a friendly, welcoming, clean environment • Answer all incoming phone calls and assist restaurant hosts by inputting restaurant reservations in OpenTable • Answer all incoming event inquiries daily via phone and email • Make payments/deposits for sales managers as requested • Distribute Banquet Event Orders weekly to all departments • Process weekly sales reports • Create & print daily private event menus, buffet signs & directional signage • Assist with content creation and management of all social media platforms and event websites (ie The Knot, Wedding Wire, Instagram, etc) to drive business • Communicate directly with executive chef and management to put together all seasonal/holidays menus to be shared across advertising pipeline, website, etc. • Must be able to routinely work sitting at a computer workstation 80% of normal workday. • Self-starter, multi-tasker, detail-oriented and thorough.
