You will be instrumental in selling sponsorships, fulfilling sponsorship agreements, and securing magazine advertising for the BuildExpo USA trade shows produced by Marketplace Events. Sell advertising space and sponsorships to new and existing exhibitors via outbound calls.Make 50-60 outbound calls daily to connect with prospective clients.Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and meet performance metrics.Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within our CRM system.Build and foster strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and advertising clients, delivering outstanding customer service.Utilize consumer research to recommend effective exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities.Identify and develop new business leads through industry research and various channels.Keep the sales database up-to-date according to company guidelines.Attend competitive shows and follow up on leads promptly.Source local sponsorship and business partnership opportunities.Understand and promote show features, marketing initiatives, and promotional strategies to support sales.Participate in weekly video meetings and occasional in-person gatherings with the team.Support on-site management during trade shows and assist with sponsorship fulfillment.Coordinate advertising placements in the magazine and show guide.Ensure timely completion of contracts and receipt of payments.Conduct collection calls if necessary.Travel for company meetings, training, and shows.Bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the sales team and be willing to work flexible hours.Other tasks as assigned.Behavioral Expectations: A minimum of 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in telephone-based sales, outbound calling, print media, or sponsorship sales.College degree preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and stress management skills.Experience in events, particularly home shows, is a plus.Benefits:
