The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the GM in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the Sales Department and in measuring the performance of the employees in the department. * Ensure that salespeople maintain a 100-percent turnover to the Business Manager. * Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them. * Communicate with salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed. * Recommend to the GM the inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment, based on a variety of customer and market analyses.
