Job Description:
Spoon River Media, LLC is seeking experienced, full-time sales professionals to represent 92.9 & 107.5 The Vibe and Q98.1, along with digital advertising solutions, to local businesses in the Peoria area. As a Marketing Consultant, you'll build a client base by developing relationships with businesses in and around Peoria.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Prospecting, developing, and cultivating new business for radio and digital advertisingSetting up and conducting face-to-face meetings with qualified prospectsConstructing and presenting proposals and contracts that address client marketing needsNegotiating deals and acquiring commitmentsManaging ongoing client relationshipsReporting sales activities to the management teamAchieving individual monthly and annual sales objectives
What we're looking for: Someone who is outgoing, creative, self-motivated, tenacious, detail-oriented, and money-motivated — with at least two years of sales experience and reliable transportation. Prior media or B2B sales experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation: Starting base salary of $45,000–$60,000 depending on experience, with the potential to earn over $100,000 annually as you grow your book of business.
