OVERVIEW: The Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the operational aspect of the Sales Department, as well as assisting in the store’s marketing efforts, which could include promotions, customer events, Getaways and boat shows. Invites customers to sales dock and provides customers with sales information, brochures and publications containing sales, special events and promotional information Confer with customers in person or by telephone to answer questions regarding sales, events or promotions including schedules, locations and points of interest, restaurants, hotels, dock space, or other marina accommodations Actively engage in Internet leads and business networking. Assist with the daily maintenance and organization of inventory onsite Demonstrate basic Seamanship skills to assist customers at marina. Maintain and update local store Facebook Page. Internal/External customer satisfaction/FANS Positive working relationship with both internal and external constituents Ability to work independently Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate complex projects and activities Efficiently respond in a calm and effective manner to a variety of demands and projects.
