Basic Function: Is responsible for consistently meeting or surpassing predetermined and mutually agreed upon company sales objectives 2\. Major Duties: 1) Plans and organizes daily routine: i.e., owner follow-up, un-sold customers, confirmation of outstanding delivery dates and times 2) Maintains current product knowledge benefits and features for comprehensive sales presentations 3) Prepares annual sales and delivery forecasts 4) Adheres to company "Commitment to Excellence" delivery procedures 5) Maintains a "Commitment to Excellence" average above the Houston Manufacturer's zone average in each category 6) Telephones all sold customers within three days of vehicle delivery for satisfaction levels 7) Consistently strives to maximize customer satisfaction 8) Prospects customers on and off the dealership on a regular basis 9) Prospects and follows-up referrals daily 10) Maintains files on all sold and unsold customers in CRM 11) Introduces each sold client to a Business Manager Sales Representatives (Continued) Page 2 12) Attends and participates in all weekly morning general sales meetings 13) Notifies switchboard upon arrival and leaving each day 14) Walks new and used vehicle lots at least twice a week for general inventory knowledge 15) Maintains a working knowledge of all products for sale including warranties, and finance plans 16) Attends Manufacturer's training sessions and meetings as required 17) Maintains a working knowledge in all facets of retail leasing policies and procedures 18) Ensures management approval is obtained prior to offering any discounts/incentives to customers 19) Promotes Dealership in a positive image at all times 20) Abides by committee decisions on any/all split deals 21) Maintains a high score average in product knowledge quizzes 22) Attends and participates in off showroom floor activities; i.e., auto shows, etc. 23) Knows, understands and applies the motor vehicle dealers act the business practices act, consumer protection act, competition act and any other acts as they may relate to his/her job 24) Obtains prior management approval for any advertising 25) Refrains from smoking when in presence of customers 26) Ensures all safety policy and procedures are in accordance with OSHA and are strictly adhered to 27) Rectifies issues with customer when problem is known to be company’s fault 28) Performs other related duties. **Authority:** Is given the authority to complete sales transactions in accordance with approved company policies and procedures.
