Salon/shop Manager position open

We're growing again! Newcastle Bishops Cuts/Color is looking to expand our team, and we are currently seeking a full time Shop Manager. o Must be able to translate stylist goals into shop goals, and is aware, willing, and able to enter and/or better understand how KPIs correlate to the growth of the shop and company. · Able to complete an entire inventory report on a monthly basis; is able to place orders · Sets schedules · Completes weekly payroll reports and understands how Sales Per Hour and Average Service Ticket correlates to shop growth. · Sets monthly goals for shop and for each stylist, understands monthly KPI reports · Recruits, hires and fires employees or makes recommendations that carry great weight · Works independently using own judgment and discretion Required knowledge and experience: · People management skills o Excellent verbal and written communications o Deep understanding and practice in recruiting, interviewing, selection, training, and development of people o Proven team building and development · Operational expertise in all facets of the business or directly relevant field and ability to implement in the Nextcutters LLC business model o Understanding and knowledge of stylists, their development, and management o Training ▪ Service and sales growth ▪ Design/technical education · Marketing o Uses Nexcutters LLC advertising and marketing programs to maximize sales growth and potential either directly or indirectly Deliverable Performance Expectations · Achieve or exceed sales growth targets · Documents all communications and all commitments · Creatively solves problems and seeks appropriate and effective solutions Minimum Qualifications · Two years of operations experience · Has worked in a fast-paced salon environment · Experience in managing · High energy, proven ability to work with a broad diversity of people and work groups · Self-starter with high standards of personal performance and integrity · Five years experience as a licensed hair technician with the ability to teach technical skills Benefits · Use of a company laptop · Yearly bonus · Health insurance · Paid Time Off Pre-approved expense reimbursement WE ARE… A PLACE OF BUSINESS THAT PRIDES OURSELVES ON
