Seeking CREATIVE ROCKSTAR CMO / Marketing Director / Brand Strategist

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Marketing Director / CMO to join us in developing a NEW SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM funded by people who are passionate about improving the way humanity interacts in the modern age. Position Overview Interacting directly with the COO, CTO, and CEO, you will work to assist in the creation of the product and the way it is publicized to the world, decidedly expanding our marketing team as we move forward together. We are seeking a talented, fearless partner to complete the core of our team. • Ensure process and solutions are well documented to ensure data consistency, transparency with internal partners, and a positive customer experience-Lead, mentor and develop a global Marketing Operations team • Creatively think about internal technology as an enabler for workflows, convenings, and engagement for the long-term • Engage with the team to improve upon product's UI/UE development • Creatively problem solve for the marketing side of the company's continued growth to establish presence in the market • Deliver tangible outcomes • Support COO and CEO on board related matters and presentations • Establish company-wide change-management policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines • Partner with the COO and business leaders to ensure the marketing strategy is fully integrated into the business strategy • Establish, implement and monitor short and long-range goals, policies, and operating procedures Team Leadership • Inspire and develop an inclusive, talented team of marketing/advertising/PR staff • Create a team culture that embodies the company's values and develop a vibrant, proactive and customer-oriented team • Ensure the team works to all policies, guidelines, and budget • Create pride in team's day to day work and contributions to the company's goals • Communications and Relationship Management • Build trust-based relationships that leverage resources toward the company's goals • Regularly interact with multiple external partners and leaders Education, Experience, and Skills • A minimum of 7 years' experience as a Director of Marketing, CMO or similar role, for a social media company, technology company, or related industry is required • Deep knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc is required • Extensive knowledge about Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other PPC systems is required • 7+ years of team management is required • Bachelor's Degree or higher in marketing-related industry a plus • Professional record of accomplishment that reflects the significant strategic partnership with and contribution to the business, including demonstrated leadership in large, complex, multi-divisional global settings a big plus • Well-versed in modern digital and traditional marketing practices and ability to assess and evaluate marketing technology capabilities • Systems/process-oriented thinker, with an advanced problem-solving and technical aptitude • Results-driven with strong ability to analyze quantitative data to determine program effectiveness, attribution, ROI • Expertise in marketing analytics and optimization, including developing and implementing campaign tracking, and building reporting infrastructure • Expert or advanced proficiency using advanced statistical tools and visualization • A passion for presenting insights and data that drive future decisions • Willingness and ability to work both strategically and hands-on when needed • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment with great attention to detail • Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across organization • Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience • Ability to inspire and lead high performing cross-functional teams who can envision and create innovative solutions that meet company needs • Ability to interact with senior management; strong communication and presentation skills Qualifications and Competencies / Communication • Excellent interpersonal abilities including strong listening, writing and verbal skills • Demonstrates assertiveness and effectiveness in presenting their ideas to a variety of internal and/or external audiences and for multiple and diverse purposes • Proven strong communication skills, ability to act as an Ambassador of the company at internal and/or external meetings Decision Making • Has the ability to evaluate risks and opportunities • Uses analytical and problem-solving skills • Takes initiative and drives for results • Self-motivated, does not wait to be told what's next • Is able to prioritize their own work and the work of others.
