Account Director ResponsibilitiesLead strategic client relationships while serving as the primary point of contact for a major destination marketing accountPartner with Creative, Media, Digital, Content, and Project Management teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategiesManage budgets, forecasting, account profitability, contract negotiations, and scope developmentPresent marketing strategies, campaign results, and recommendations to executive-level clientsIdentify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional services and strategic initiativesSupport new business efforts, including RFPs, proposals, and client presentationsMentor and develop Account Managers, Account Supervisors, and CoordinatorsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectivesCore CompetenciesExceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills with executive-level clientsStrong strategic thinking, organization, and project management abilitiesFinancial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and account profitabilityCollaborative leadership style with the ability to work across multiple agency disciplinesAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detailConfident public speaker with strong executive presenceAccount Director QualificationsMinimum 7 years of account management or client services experience within an integrated marketing, advertising, branding, digital, or media agencyProven experience managing executive-level client relationships and complex integrated marketing initiativesExperience leading cross-functional teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projectsStrong presentation, negotiation, and strategic planning skillsTourism, destination marketing, hospitality, or government marketing experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to work in the Jackson, MS area and regularly attend in-person client meetingsApply Now
