Senior Advertising Compliance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Advertising Compliance Specialist. Responsibilities • Acting as a subject matter expert for compliance staff and colleagues across the organization specific to both insurance and securities advertising compliance regulations; • Conducting reviews of a wide variety of advertisements across all mediums, including print, digital, and social media; • Offering constructive, flexible, relevant, timely, and contextual revisions and feedback for the purpose of ensuring compliance with insurance and securities regulations as well as company policies and standards; • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with compliance colleagues, internal legal counsel, marketing professionals, product SMEs, and other colleagues across the organization; • Filing of material with FINRA Advertising Regulation and various state insurance departments when applicable and required; • Assisting the Senior Director in identifying, creating, and changing processes and procedures to consider emerging technology as well as changes to regulatory and business environments; • Keeping current on industry developments that impact advertising and public communications and advise internal colleagues of pending changes in applicable rules and regulations and their effect on marketing/sales materials.
