Marketing & Communications Manager (Economic Development) is responsible for executing marketing and communications strategies designed to support the attraction and retention of targeted companies, investment, and talent to the Houston region. Under the general direction of the Vice President, Economic Development Marketing and Communications and in coordination with the economic development division, the Senior Manager will: Execute strategic marketing and communications strategies including: Regional branding and message development related to greater Houston's key industries and image Public relations and advertising campaigns Social and digital media campaigns Event, trade show, inbound/outbound missions, and grassroots marketing and awareness efforts Manage the planning and creation of content marketing initiatives in conjunction with the marketing communications content team, to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver new economic development projects into the project pipe line and promote the Houston region as an excellent place to live, work, and do business. Work with external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, digital marketing firms, and production companies.
