Independent non-profit operations company is looking for a talented Senior Communication Specialist to join their team full time! In this role you will work closely with the Director of Corporate Communication and often communicate with a team of five, including both creative and communication staff. If leading a strong communicative team culture is you passion and you have a talent for bringing people together and keeping them informed, this might be the perfect role for you! As the Senior Communication Specialist, you will: \\- Work with company clients as well as team members on campaigns, and create/implement plans for both short term and long term projects \\- Assist in the presentation and planning of executive events and work alongside clients as needed \\- Conceptualize and create copy for internal company use – write communication documents like memos, publications, brochures, web content and more \\- Conduct ample project management internally and for clients – ensuring all processes follow department standards and timelines are adequately planned \\- Assist in conceptualizing engaging ways to present training videos – work with creative team to enhance messaging and provide a successful outlet \\- Create presentations on PowerPoint for both internal and external use \\- Assist with administrative duties like processing invoices, attending and setting up meetings, completing timesheets, etc. \\- Assist with other duties as needed Background Profile: \\- Past experience in human resources and benefit education, internal communication, financial services and 401(k) communication \\- Exceptional content management experience \\- Excellent command of English language, great ability to write, edit and proofread corporate communication – knowledge of AP Style is a plus \\- Great project management, organizational and time management skills \\- Experience working with a creative team, to ensure correct communication and messaging is achieved \\- Excellent command of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) \\- BS/BA Degree and 8+ years in marketing, communication, public relations or advertising \\- Preferred: Background in utilities, some experience with InDesign This is an on-site full time opportunity for a company near Liburn, GA.
