### Position Requirements

**What You'll Need:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing experience
* Advanced writing experience producing executive‑level messaging and briefing materials
* Experience managing external events, speaking engagements, or large‑scale thought leadership initiatives
* Deep understanding of emerging communications technology and social media platforms as well as an understanding of the local and national media landscape, with experience working in complex, matrixed organizations

**What Could Set You Apart:**

* Experience in financial services, other highly regulated industries and change- management
* Agency experience is a plus
* Demonstrated experience partnering directly with senior or C‑suite leaders
* Proven responsibility for earned media strategy, proactive placements, and media training

### Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.  Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
