In support of our mission, we are seeking a data-driven Senior Manager, Email Marketing to join our Retention & Engagement Marketing team. Our customers are global and diverse, so we’re building a team that is too. you’ll do as the Senior Manager, Email Marketing: • Own and manage our Email Marketing & SMS program, driving program strategy, execution, and performance to successfully engage and retain Away customers • Own the Email & SMS calendar, ensuring we have the optimal portfolio of content, templates, and campaigns to keep our customers engaged across the funnel—from list growth and onboarding, through loyalty and re-engagement • Identify, size, and pursue new opportunities for channel growth and optimization across customer segments and in support of broader Away strategic pillars • Develop a strategic test-and-learn roadmap and set clear channel goals to drive efficient growth, balancing long-term initiatives with near-term needs • Execute channel analysis and process work with a sharp attention to detail and operational excellence, building scalable processes and driving innovation from internal platforms and tools to cross-functional communications and workflows • Optimize our Email & SMS segmentation and targeting strategies, with the goal of developing personalized relationships while also growing the value of our customer file and improving customer retention • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Brand, Data, Digital Product, and Engineering to plan, execute, and measure campaigns, and contribute to our efforts to improve the overall customer experience • Develop a high-performing team by mentoring, motivating, and supporting them in their learning and development • Serve as the in-house Email & SMS expert, building up organizational competences by staying ahead of platform changes, consumer trends, and best practices, and identifying new opportunities to grow each channel • Support the development of Away’s customer retention & engagement strategy by providing input into channel strategy, measurement, and Mar Tech roadmap, including future-thinking opportunities and testing
