You will be a key member of the team and a point person to our clients. You are expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media landscape (including digital). There is an onsite requirement one day a week in either our Chicago or New York City office. Key Responsibilities: • Accountable for media plan output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence • Participate and help lead the strategic media planning/execution and serve as a resource for direct reports & junior staff for advice and counsel • Demonstrate ability to utilize resources (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data) to help guide client’s marketing goals and apply to strategic recommendations • Work closely with activation department leads to outline appropriate processes and timelines to ensure flawless execution • Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for clients’ media strategies • Provides relevant insight and input into existing and emerging media opportunities (through awareness of available media services vendors) • Build & maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels • Accurately represent the client’s point of view when developing/reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client • Capable of effectively managing up and down the reporting structure • Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets and related dynamics • Train, motivate and develop media planning group • Construct and deliver accurate, honest and timely performance management documents Time Type:
