Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist (AEC)

Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist to play a strategic role in advancing regional growth initiatives across Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. This position is ideal for an experienced marketing professional with a strong understanding of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry who is ready to lead complex pursuits and elevate client engagement strategies at a higher level. There may be the possibility of a fully remote arrangement within the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 5+ years of marketing experience within the AEC or environmental consulting industryDemonstrated ability to lead complex proposal efforts and effectively manage multiple, concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative SuitePreferred qualifications Experience with website management and content updatesFamiliarity with IDOT EPAS and prequalification processesExperience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and marketing automation toolsKnowledge of the Illinois market and regional industry landscapeExperience working with IDOT, as well as local counties and municipal agenciesCompensation: Applicants to and employees of Michael Baker International are protected under Federal law from discrimination.
