About the Role
We're looking for a data-driven SEO & PPC Specialist to take ownership of paid media and organic search strategy for a defined portfolio of clients. This role is built for someone who values depth of expertise: you'll go deep on your accounts, master your craft, and be the recognized authority on search inside our team.
You'll be just as comfortable optimizing a Google Ads bid strategy as you are auditing technical SEO issues or digging into keyword research. You'll work directly with clients and support client-facing teams, translating campaign data into clear insights and recommendations that drive measurable business results.
We want someone who isn't just executing on today's best practices, but who's genuinely curious about where search is headed, including how AI, answer engines, and generative search are reshaping visibility (AEO/GEO).
What You'll Own
Your scope is clearly defined. You will:
Plan, build, and manage paid search and paid social campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, and Meta Ads, with additional platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon Ads, etc.) a plusConduct in-depth keyword research to inform both paid campaigns and organic content strategyPerform technical SEO audits (site architecture, crawlability, indexation, page speed, structured data) and on-page optimization (titles, meta descriptions, content, internal linking)Monitor and experiment with emerging AEO/GEO tactics to keep clients visible as search evolvesAnalyze performance data across platforms and translate it into clear, actionable reports for clients and internal stakeholdersManage budgets, bids, and optimizations to hit defined client KPIs (CPA, ROAS, traffic, rankings, conversions)Partner directly with clients on strategy calls, presenting results and recommendations backed by dataCollaborate with account teams to ensure SEO and PPC strategies align with broader marketing goalsStay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practicesProvide reporting and analysis for ongoing client relationships across SEO & PPC initiatives

What You Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns, ideally in an agency environmentProven, hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, and Meta Ads as core platformsExperience with additional platforms (LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Amazon Ads, Pinterest, etc.) is a plusStrong command of keyword research tools and methodology (Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner)Solid understanding of technical SEO and on-page SEO fundamentalsGenuine interest in AI's role in search and marketing, with some exposure to AEO/GEO concepts or early experimentationComfort working in analytics platforms (GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, or similar) and turning raw data into a compelling narrativeExcellent communication skills; you'll explain complex data to clients in plain languageExperience working directly with clients or supporting client-facing teams in an agency or in-house environmentHighly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple accounts at once

Location Requirement
This role requires you to be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Grand Rapids, MI but we will waive this requirement and consider a fully remote employee if your experience is a slam dunk. Please do not apply if you're not located in the United States.
