Social Media Account Manager II

This role requires both strategic thinking and disciplined execution, operating within OMG’s defined campaign framework to ensure all content is intentional, aligned, and performance-driven. This role works closely with the Director of Client Strategy and internal team members to translate client objectives into structured campaign plans and high-quality social execution. Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & PlanningOwn social media campaign planning for assigned client accounts using OMG’s defined campaign frameworkDevelop monthly campaign themes, objectives, and messaging pillars aligned to client goalsDefine clear target angles and content direction for each campaignMap all planned content to campaign objectives, ensuring intentional and cohesive executionPresent and defend campaign approach internally and, when appropriate, to clientsContribute to higher-level campaign and marketing strategy discussions in partnership with the Director of Client StrategyProvide strategic input and recommendations beyond defined frameworks based on performance data and market insights Content Planning & ExecutionBuild and maintain content calendars at least 3–4 weeks in advance using Sprout SocialEnsure every post is mapped to a campaign, messaging pillar, and objective prior to publishingWrite, edit, and publish high-quality content that reflects each client’s brand voice and positioningCoordinate with internal creative team via Monday.com to execute photo/video and design needsDevelop and maintain brand style guides and content direction for each clientExecution Oversight & Quality ControlEnsure all content aligns with campaign strategy and OMG quality standardsEliminate filler or non-strategic content from deliverablesParticipate in weekly campaign and content review sessions, incorporating feedback into executionContinuously refine content approach based on performance and internal feedbackPlatform Management & Community EngagementManage daily activity across client platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit) using Sprout SocialMonitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and professional mannerIdentify trends, conversations, and opportunities to increase engagement and reachMaintain brand reputation and escalate issues appropriatelyAnalytics & Performance OptimizationUtilize Sprout Social and internal reporting tools to track performance and identify trendsEvaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust content strategy accordinglyContribute insights and recommendations to improve future campaign performanceEnsure all deliverables are completed on time and aligned with performance goalsClient Communication & Account ManagementServe as the primary contact for clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfactionPresent monthly reporting and performance insightsIdentify opportunities for additional work or expanded scope and communicate to leadershipMaintain clear documentation of client communication, action items, and deliverablesRequired QualificationsExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)2 – 5 years of experience managing high-volume social media accounts in an agency or brand environmentDemonstrated experience contributing to or executing structured marketing campaignsIndustry KnowledgeStrong understanding of social platforms, algorithms, and content best practicesFamiliarity with firearms, outdoors, hunting, fishing, or defense industries strongly preferredUnderstanding of content limitations, compliance considerations, and platform restrictions within regulated industriesTechnical SkillsProficiency in Sprout Social or similar scheduling platformExperience with analytics and reporting toolsFamiliarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (basic design capability)Experience using project management tools such as Monday.comCore CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to think critically and proactivelyStrong copywriting, reporting, and content development skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to
