Sutherlands is seeking a creative, self-motivated, organized, and results-driven Social Media & Advertising Coordinator to support our marketing and promotional efforts. Assist in planning and executing store-level and regional advertising campaigns Coordinate digital and print advertising efforts including flyers, promotional ads, and online campaigns Promote weekly specials, seasonal sales events, and grand openings Help maintain promotional calendars and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives Monitor advertising performance and provide reporting on campaign effectiveness Design basic graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools Create promotional signage, social media graphics, and digital advertising materials Support in-store marketing efforts including event signage and promotional materials Develop creative content aligned with seasonal retail campaigns (spring lawn & garden, summer projects, fall preparation, winter savings events), promotional items and trade show events Work closely with store managers and department leaders to highlight key products and promotions Coordinate marketing materials with corporate marketing teams when applicable Assist with community outreach and local event promotions Maintain organized files of marketing assets, content calendars, and campaign schedules Research and recommend new marketing strategies High school diploma or equivalent Experience in social media management, marketing, advertising, or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using social media platforms for business purposes Graphic design skills using adobe creative suite Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working in a retail environment and collaborating with store teams
