Purpose: Working as a valuable part of the Marketing and Communications team, the Social Media and Digital Marketing Co-Op will contribute to the Mounts efforts to attract, engage, and retain constituents through online channels. The Co-op will assist the Social Media & Experiential Marketing Manager with: • managing a social media content calendar, • creating posts and event announcements, • monitoring conversations about MSJ, • basic digital marketing initiatives • and measuring the effectiveness of overall efforts. Of the Co-Op's weekly workload, about one-third of the hours may be spent "in the field" during nights and weekends doing social posts while at MSJ events (games, performances, SGA events, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: • Must be enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University • Must be at least a second-year/sophomore student who has successfully completed CED 220 or will be enrolled in CED 220 during their co-op experience. • Should have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
