Social Media and Marketing Asst

Established boutique agency, representing a diverse and talented group of photographers and directors specializing in commercial print and motion assignment work, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic social media/marketing assistant. Initial responsibilities include managing social media networks including writing/posting of news blogs, gathering content for newsletters and assisting in the writing of the newsletters, updating of website visuals, creating on- line presentations, market research, developing and maintaining contact lists, sending email blasts and participating in agency presentations. For the right candidate, there is growth potential to advance to an associate agent. Requirements: - Knowledge/understanding of social media - Excellent writing skills - Professional and friendly phone manner - Great organizational skills - Motivation and ability to work independently - Ability to research, source and execute solutions on a given issue - Visual background and knowledge of photography required - MAC literacy required - Photoshop, Acrobat, Word and Excel expertise helpful and preferred - Knowledge of video and advertising are big pluses.
