RocketCert is a rapidly growing online education company, and we’re adding another full-time position to the team. They will be working directly with the Marketing Director to learn and improve our existing systems, as well as designing, building, and refining future online marketing projects. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly but isn’t afraid to ask questions to get the job done right. Although this position requires basic technical prowess, it is entry-level, and we will teach everything needed to excel in this role.
The right candidate will be able to:
• Work as a team to complete projects in a time-sensitive environment.
• Understand and explain basic SEO concepts.
• Use basic HTML tags.
• Type at a proficient rate.
• Plan and create engaging social media content.
• Edit digital media with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, or Canva.
• Effectively communicate with team members, content creators, and customers.
In the first few weeks, the candidate will work directly with the Marketing Director to:
• Learn the front and back-end systems of the website.
• Make small revisions to existing web pages.
• Review the existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Build drip campaigns for existing customers.
• Begin developing new short-term marketing and advertising strategies.
Once they are acquainted with the role, the daily responsibilities of this position could be:
• Independently maintaining drip, print, and social media campaigns.
• Researching competitors and customer trends for potential future products.
• Working with the Director to develop the next phase of the website.
• Performing A/B testing on page design to optimize CTR.
• Closely monitoring SEO performance metrics.
While the marketing department is small, this position will be interacting directly with everyone else in the company. We have an open office that allows us to collaborate in real time and provide technical assistance to other departments and customers as needed. Ideally, this position will prepare the candidate to take on a bigger role within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.20 per hour
